Volunteer with Selsdon Scouts!
Hey awesome people of Selsdon!
Fancy being a superhero in disguise? The 1st Selsdon and Addington Scouts is on the lookout for enthusiastic adult volunteers to join our amazing term-time team!
Whether you fancy hanging out with our super-cute Beavers (6–8-year-olds, Tuesdays 5:45–7pm), getting adventurous with our awesome Cubs (8–10.5-year-olds, Wednesdays 6:00–7:30pm), or tackling challenges with our brilliant Scouts (10.5–14-year-olds, Thursdays 7:30–9:00pm), we’ve got a spot for you! You’ll be working alongside and fully supported by an experienced Team Leader and other friendly Team Members, so you’ll never be on your own!
Got a busy life? No worries! Volunteering is super flexible and can fit right around your schedule. Plus, we’ll kit you out with all the training you need – and guess what? It’s all online, so you can do it in your PJs with a cuppa!
Imagine the buzz of seeing young people conquer their fears and learn amazing #skillsforlife! Seriously, the grin on a kid’s face when they nail something they thought they couldn’t do? Totally beats binge-watching telly!
Rather than diving straight in, you could take the Four Week Challenge (below) and see if it’s for you!
Want to find out more about the exciting opportunities we’ve got? Get in touch with James and come say hi! We’d love to meet you!
Join Our Scout Group’s Board of Trustees!
We’re looking for a new volunteer to join our Board of Trustees — a vital role helping to support and guide our local Scout Group.
With just four meetings a year, plus our Annual General Meeting, this is a great way to get involved behind the scenes and make a real difference to young people in your community. No previous experience is needed — full training and support will be provided.
You won’t need to volunteer every week, but your input will help shape the future of Scouting in our area and ensure we continue to offer amazing opportunities for our young people.
Support local Scouting in a meaningful way — your time, ideas, and enthusiasm could make all the difference.
